Kanpuriye

Set in the industrial heartland of Kanpur, the film intertwines the lives of three ambitious young men striving to break out of their socio-economic constraints and realize their personal dreams. Jaitun Mishra works in a local leather factory and desperately searches for an apartment so he can marry the love of his life, Bulbul; Jugnu is caught between pursuing a career in stand-up comedy and conforming to his father's orthodox expectations; and Vijay, a fresh law graduate, finds his corporate legal aspirations crippled by an unresolved criminal case filed against him. As their aspirations repeatedly clash with everyday realities and local dilemmas, the narrative captures the charm, eccentricities, and persistent struggles of ordinary small-town life.
