Luka Chuppi

Set in the small towns of Mathura and Gwalior, Luka Chuppi follows Guddu Shukla, a popular local television reporter who falls in love with Rashmi Trivedi, a headstrong independent woman. When Guddu proposes marriage, Rashmi suggests they try a live-in relationship first to understand each other better, despite her father being a prominent politician who vehemently campaigns against such arrangements. To bypass local scrutiny, the couple rents an apartment in Gwalior under the guise of being married. Chaos ensues and comedy unfolds when their traditional, conservative families accidentally discover them and mistakenly assume they have officially eloped, forcing the couple into a hysterical web of lies.
