Mere Pyare Prime Minister

Set in the slums of Mumbai, the story follows eight-year-old Kanhu, who shares a loving bond with his single mother, Sargam. After Sargam is assaulted while venturing out to relieve herself due to the lack of sanitation facilities in their neighborhood, Kanhu becomes determined to protect her from further danger. Refusing to remain silent, he writes an earnest plea to the Prime Minister requesting a toilet for their slum and sets off on an emotional journey to New Delhi with his friends to deliver the letter directly.
