Beni Madhav Singh is a disillusioned music teacher living in the quiet hills of Solan, haunted by the ghost of a career that never took flight and a love he let slip away. His life is thrown into emotional turmoil when his former star pupil, Jyotsna, who has since become a famous Bollywood singer, returns to their small town for a concert. As the town buzzes with excitement, Beni is forced to confront years of repressed resentment, regret, and the bitter reality of his own choices, ultimately seeking a painful form of closure as he reconciles his past with the successful woman Jyotsna has become.
