About Notebook
Set against the scenic backdrop of Kashmir, Notebook follows Kabir Kaul, a young ex-army officer dealing with trauma who takes a teaching post at an impoverished, remote houseboat school on Wular Lake. While struggling to connect with the handful of students, Kabir discovers a personal notebook left behind by the school's previous teacher, Firdaus. As he reads through her candid reflections, lessons, and thoughts, he finds purpose, helps transform the children's lives, and deeply falls in love with a woman he has never met, waiting for fate to bring their paths together.
