The Curse of La Llorona

Set in 1970 Los Angeles, the film follows social‑worker and widowed mother Anna Tate‑García (Linda Cardellini) who becomes involved in a case of two missing children and inadvertently unleashes the wrath of the restless spirit known as La Llorona. As the ghost begins to haunt Anna’s own children and prey on the vulnerable, Anna turns to Rafael Olvera (Raymond Cruz), a former priest practising mystic arts, for help. She must confront the horrifying legend of the weeping woman, protect her family, and survive the curse before it takes everything from her.
