The Death of Robin Hood

In 1247 England, an aging, battle-scarred Robin Hood lives in bleak isolation, haunted by the violent acts of his past and rejecting the romanticized folklore surrounding his name. After sustaining grave injuries during a vicious conflict, he is left to recuperate on an isolated priory on the island of St. Clement under the care of a compassionate prioress, Sister Brigid. Confronting the weight of his guilt and impending mortality alongside a traumatized young girl and the local leper caretaker, Robin rejects redemption through continued violence and chooses to meet his final moments on his own terms, passing on his archer's legacy before succumbing to his wounds.
