Sarah O'Neill is a young mother attempting to build a fresh start for herself and her son, Chris, in a secluded home on the fringes of a rural Irish town. Her fragile peace is shattered when Chris disappears into the dense forest behind their house and returns seemingly unharmed, but with a personality that grows increasingly sinister and detached.
