The Mummy

Set in 1926, the film follows adventurous American Rick O’Connell as he leads aspiring Egyptologist Evelyn Carnahan and her brother Jonathan to the ancient city of Hamunaptra. During their excavation, they accidentally awaken Imhotep, a cursed high priest from 1290 BC with terrifying supernatural powers. As Imhotep begins to unleash the ten plagues of Egypt to resurrect his lost love, the group must race against time to find the Book of Amun-Ra to send the immortal monster back to the underworld.
