Being Human

One soul, incarnated across five vastly different lives — from a caveman to a Roman slave, a medieval crusader, a shipwrecked explorer, and finally a modern New-Yorker — experiences love, loss, indecision and the haunting repetition of mistakes. Through these successive incarnations, the film explores the recurring patterns of human frailty and longing, as the central character (all portrayed by Robin Williams) seeks redemption and meaning across the ages in a sweeping, contemplative meditation on what it truly means to be human.
